The Amazon rebranded miniTV as Amazon MX Player.The miniTV account on X (formerly Twitter) now says “Amazon MX Player is available on multiple surfaces”. However, the miniTV branding remains on the service’s website and mobile app.
Amazon merged MX Player with its own content streaming service, miniTV, to create Amazon MX Player.

THARE are Differences Between Amazon MX Player and Prime Video?
Amazon MX Player is a free, ad-supported video streaming service within the Amazon Shopping app. Amazon MX Player is available on Android or iOS phones and on the Amazon website via mobile or desktop web browsers. Amazon customers don’t need a separate application to access and enjoy Amazon MX Player content.

Prime Video is a subscription-based video on-demand service that requires a Prime subscription.The Prime Video content includes award-winning Amazon Originals, latest movies and TV shows, in English and nine Indian languages.
Prime members can access Prime Video content through web portal and also via Prime Video App. The Prime Video App is available across various devices including mobile, laptop, smart televisions, Fire TV devices and many more.
